LANCER COMMUNITY

  • Seniors: the long weekend would be a great time to work on your Charlevoix Community Foundation and Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation Scholarships. They are all due March 1st. Check your email from Ms Pletcher for the links to apply. 

  • Applications are now open for Model United Nations.

Delegates will represent countries in United Nations Security Council simulations, research global conflicts, write resolutions, and participate in formal debate. Model UN is an academic commitment designed for students interested in leadership, diplomacy, and international affairs.

Applications must be submitted by 3:00 PM on Friday, February 20. Late submissions will not be considered.

Students will receive selection notifications on Monday, February 23, with practices beginning Wednesday, February 25 from 3:00–4:00 PM.

    • Career and Technical Education Millage on the ballot

      • On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, voters in all Char-Em ISD school districts will be asked to consider a proposed Career and Technical Education (CTE) vocational millage. The millage was first approved by voters in 1996, funding career and technical education for the past 30 years.
