ANNOUNCEMENTS –  Tuesday, November 25th

LANCER COMMUNITY

  • The Giving Tree is located in the gym lobby.  Please take an ornament that names a much needed supply to help the Moms and Tots Center.  Bring the unwrapped gift back to the tree before Wednesday, December 17.  

  • ATHLETES!!! Please clean out the locker rooms during seminar today!!!

  • There will be NO After School Academic Support this week!

  • The Teens in the Driver’s Seat program is now accepting applications! This student-led group focuses on seat belt safety, distracted driving, and preventing impaired driving through fun activities and awareness campaigns completed at school with peers.

The group meets 1–2 times a month during school hours with Nichole Flickema from the Health Department of Northwest Michigan, and participation counts toward volunteer hours if approved by your organization.

If you’re interested in joining, pick up an application from Ms. Pletcher and return it to her when completed! 

Applications will be accepted through December 10, 2025.

  1. Christmas in the Village will take place on Saturday, December 6th, Noon to 4 p.m. It is an event that is being coordinated by Good Samaritan Family Services and the Village of Ellsworth Downtown Development Authority. Many local organizations will also participate in the event. It will culminate in the annual lighting of the Christmas tree. I have attached a flyer.

  1. The second event is our very own Breakfast with Santa. It will take place Saturday morning, December 13th, 9 to 11 a.m. Set-up will take place Friday evening, December 12th.
