CLASS OF 2021 SPOTLIGHT

Jäeger Vonn Griswold

Jäeger Vonn Griswold, son of Roberta and Mark Griswold, is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2021.

Jäeger’s hobbies include basketball, board games, and community service work. One of Jäeger’s best memories from high school was winning the Robotics District Championship. He has represented ECS on the Basketball, Baseball, Track and Field, Quiz Bowl, and Robotics teams. In addition to this, Jäeger is president of Student Council, a member of National Honor Society, and a member of SAFE in Northern Michigan.

Outside of school Jäeger also is a member of the Christ Lutheran Church Youth Group, Great Lakes Burn Camp, and Keep America Beautiful. Jäeger’s favorite subject in school is Mathematics because he enjoys the never-ending challenge to absorb knowledge through the intellectual experience of quantities. He is most proud of his basketball teammates and himself for various reasons throughout the season all the way up to winning the district title together.

After graduation, Jäeger plans to attend Vanderbilt University.
