Kaitlyn Ione Cary, daughter of Jennifer and Doug Cary, is a spirited member of the class of 2021.
Katie’s hobbies include running, reading, watching documentaries, going thrifting & to estate sales, and spending time with friends. One of Katie’s most fond school memories is her senior year Cross Country season. She enjoyed running at the Regional and State Championships for Cross Country.
At EHS Katie is President of National Honor Society, President of the Class of 2021, and Vice-President of Student Council. Katie has represented Ellsworth on the Cross Country, Track & Field, Basketball, and Softball teams. In addition to this, Katie has participated in Girl Scouts. At ECS Katie enjoys studying History because she loves to learn about the past and travel to important historical places.
Katie is most proud of being awarded second team all conference in Cross Country her senior year, and running at the state meet as a freshman.
After graduation, Katie plans to attend Central Michigan University for a Public History major and Museum Studies minor.
