Alexis Kay Danforth, daughter of Amanda and Kevin Whisler, is a sporty member of the class of 2021. Alexis enjoys kayaking, watching Netflix, going on drives, watching sunsets, and spending time with her family & friends.
One of Alexis’ best memories from high school was when the girls Varsity Basketball team beat Lake Leelanau with only 6 players. Additionally, she enjoys being involved in sports because of the team bonding. While at ECS Alexis has been a member of the Varsity Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball teams. Alexis was also a mentor in the Little Buddies program and helped with the yearbook.
Alexis’ favorite class at ECS is Graphics. She enjoys it because it allows for freedom to show off her skills and there are endless opportunities. Alexis is most proud of getting first & second team all conference, and dream team for basketball. As well as, first team all conference for volleyball. After graduation, Alexis plans to attend Northwestern Michigan College to become a dental assistant.
