Christy Faye Ann Figueroa, daughter of Tammy and Shawn Figueroa, is a driven member of the class of 2021. Christy’s hobbies include paddle boarding, playing sports, and hanging out with friends.
Christy will always remember participating in sports during high school. It is one of her best memories because of her love for sports, the team bonding, and the friendships that were created. Speaking of sports, Christy represented ECS on the Cross Country, Track & Field, Basketball, and Softball teams.
Christy was also an Ellsworth Voice of Democracy finalist. She is a member of the Student Council and a mentor with the Little Buddies Program. Christy’s favorite subject at ECS is Mathematics because she discovered that she likes problem-solving and working with numbers.
Christy is most proud of running Cross Country during 6-12th grade and qualifying for State Finals every year of high school. After graduation, Christy plans to attend Northwestern Michigan College and then transfer to a University.
