Brooke Alice Essenberg

Brooke Alice Essenberg, daughter of Kate and Rob Essenberg, is a compassionate member of the class of 2021. In her free time, Brooke enjoys reading, writing, knitting, and running. One of Brooke’s favorite memories from high school is helping the Student Council organize homecoming and spirit week every year, and working behind the scenes to make all the events fun for everyone.

Brooke has represented ECS on the Cross Country, Track & Field, and Quiz Bowl teams.  Brook is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Historical Fiction Book Club at Ellsworth. Her favorite class is Pre-Calculus because it is challenging but very rewarding. Brooke is most proud of running with the Girls Cross Country team at Regionals and State Finals during her sophomore and senior years.

After graduation, Brooke plans to attend Central Michigan University. She is undecided on her major, but knows that she is interested in Psychology.

Brooke’s favorite quote - “It is far better to bend than to break.” -Aesop
