ECS Closure Challenge Day 2 - Happy St. Patrick's Day. For today's learning challenge take time to read a book to a family member, stuffed animal, or pet. For even more fun, try using your favorite Irish Accent while you read.
ECS Staff are busy stuffing envelopes with lessons and activities for students during the closure. Look for them at your mailing address very soon.

Thanks to Mrs. Pletcher, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Sponable, and Mr. Gaffney for taking time Sunday afternoon to prepare for tomorrow’s emergency breakfast/lunch delivery. We will be keeping the signup open for additions Wednesday and Friday.

ECS Update: Attention Lancer Families. Effective immediately the MHSAA has suspended all high school athletic contests, including Regional and District games schedules for tonight and tomorrow night.

Ellsworth Community School will be closed today, Tuesday, March 10 due to ice.

Yesterday the ECS building trades class finished roofing one side of the 2019/20 project house. Looking good.

Congratulations to the ECS varsity boys basketball team on wrapping up their second straight Northern Lakes conference championship last night finishing the season unbeaten in conference play. The next travel to Gaylord St. Mary on Monday night to take on Alba in the first round of MHSAA District action.

Students in World History class have been talking about the Mayans and the history of chocolate. They made Mayan hot chocolate and Mayan truffles. Many teachers and students in the school were also able to enjoy it.
