The Ellsworth NHS students held their annual canned food drive this week and had a class challenge for most items donated and sculpture contest. The students were able to collect over 1,700 food donations for the Good Samaritan food pantry. Thank you Ellsworth Community!

ECS Update: Please note the basketball schedule change for this week. Wednesday's home boys basketball game vs. Alba has been moved to Tuesday. Both boys and girls varsity teams will now play on Tuesday at home. Boys game starting at 5:30 with girls to follow.

Popcorn anyone? ECS Elementary students have been enjoying popcorn from their new popcorn machine as part of the PBIS system. Thanks to Mrs. Swenson and Mrs. Sponable for taking the time to make popcorn for the kids.

Congratulations to ECS students Calista Hoeksema (1st place,) Jurgen Griswold (2nd place,) and Cameron Snyder (alternate) for qualifying for the regional Spelling Bee to be held in Traverse City.
