
The Big and Little Buddies spent the afternoon bowling and eating pizza together. Thanks to Ruben OviedoDelgado for organizing the peer mentor program this year.

Thanks to Mr. Nagel, the many volunteers, and all the students who participated in last week’s Jump Rope for Heart. All told, ECS Elementary students raised almost $3000.


Last week the ECS Quiz Bowl team competed in their final match of the year in Petoskey. Thanks to seniors Alexis Groenink, Josh Light, Sam Montgomery, and Ana Oviedo.


The NHS students delivered close to 1,900 items to the Good Sam food pantry yesterday. We want to thank everyone who donated making this so successful for our community.

ECS Update: Ellsworth Community School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 25 due to blowing and drifting snow.


On Friday the ECS chapter of the NHS held their annual food drive and can sculpture contest. Thanks to all those who contributed and to Mrs. Stuck and the NHS for organizing the event.

On Friday the elementary school has a PBIS assembly and the 4th grade captured the Spirit Stick!


Congratulations to ECS students Calista Hoeskema, Jurgen Griswold, and Patrick Puroll on their performance in last night's Antrim County Spelling Bee. Out of 22 spellers Calista placed 1st, Jurgen 2nd and Patrick 6th. All three ECS students will be moving on to the Regional Spelling Bee at the State Theater on March 17th.

ECS Update: The NHS "Have a Heart" annual food drive begins Monday, February 18 and ends Friday, February 22. Bring in donations to support your class and the Good Samaritan. The sculpture building contest will be Friday.
